What I'm Thankful For

Since my life's work is advancing women and girls I feel like it's my job to say yes to nearly every "let's connect" request I get. Regularly exchanging stories and insights from fabulous women is one of my most rewarding experiences. This Thanksgiving it's what I'm most grateful for. One of the women I connected with this week was Olympian, public speaker, and author Bonnie St. John. Despite having her right leg amputated at age five, she became the first African-American to ever win Olympic or Paralympic medals in ski racing. Her latest book, Micro-Resilience: Minor Shifts for Major Boosts in Focus, Drive & Energy is all about how to master the art of renewal. I felt renewed just being in her presence.
