There are few experiences I cherish more than sitting in the front row at TEDWomen. After I jump out of my seat to give a speaker a standing ovation, I often think to myself, "That's the best talk I've seen so far," only to repeat the same thought after the next talk. This year the session I can't get out of my head was curated by one of my fave couples, John Cary and Courtney Martin. The theme was "It's About (Our) Time" and it featured duet talks that covered the range of human experience, from bliss to torture to forgiveness. Kim Katrin Milan and Tiq Milan taught us how love and inclusion are a tool of revolutionary change. Thordis Elva and Tom Stranger modeled the power of reconciliation. And Kennedy and Jessica Odede, founder and COO of Shining Hope for Communities, taught us that forgiveness is a process. You just have to start. Amen.
