The incredible Maya Angelou said, “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” I live by these words. But don't let the stage fool you. I'm an introvert. It's just that when you're on the planet to advance women and girls you have to speak to a LOT of people to make it happen. For me, it's been about 30,000 people over the past five years. Being a preacher's kid has come in handy.
